As Rwanda's premier breakdancing and hip-hop culture event approaches its 9th season, preparations are in full swing across Kigali. From venue scouting at BK Arena to artist negotiations spanning four continents, the team is building something unprecedented.
This year's edition will feature an expanded battle bracket, a new Cultural Exchange stage, and the long-awaited Abatanguha showcase. International judges have been confirmed from France, the United States, Japan, and South Korea.
The 2026 festival runs from 19 to 22 August, closing with the ticketed Hip-Hop Theater on the final day.
